This has resulted in a rush for development of renewable energy particularly biofuels, biomass, solar, wind, etc. While they are definitely the future, these technologies are still very immature to be implemented on a commercial scale world-wide. Some of these technologies need massive development of new infrastructure to be economically viable.
Ikanos Power is set to revolutionize the way we generate electricity from fossil fuels.
